A great relief the Binance exchange offers is the ability to quickly withdraw money from your own futures wallet or add it from the main spot wallet. This is a useful feature when trading cross collateral. You do not risk losing the entire capital, only the part that is currently contained in the futures wallet.
Additional functions
Position mode is a useful feature that you should learn about.
Here is the choice:
One-way mode, i.e. H. when opening a position, e.g. B. Short, you can change its value. It is possible to close or enlarge part of an object. As long as it is open, however, Longs cannot be opened.
Hedge mode, d. H. At the same time, for example, one can enter into an open long but short-term short position. So you can do two opposing positions at the same time.
Do not forget that the selection of the position mode is only possible if there are currently no orders open on the futures account.
Stop Loss
The Binance exchange offers various options for setting a stop loss:
Close a position
To close positions, select the `` Close '' tab and specify the value for which part of the open position you want to close.
It can be part or all of it. For example, if you are in a long position with a value of 1 BTC and want to leave it, you open `` Close '', select Limit or Market and enter the value, e.g. B. 1 BTC if the entire position is to be closed. However, it is important that the price when choosing the limit, not the value, because you have to reach it and you cannot be sure that the transaction will be completed.
The market automatically closes your positions at the best current market price.
There are 2 ways to set up a position:
The Market order via the Open Long or Open Short option - with this option, contracts are bought or sold at the current best market price. The position will be opened immediately after the order is placed.
The order by limit - long position or short position, with this option you buy or sell contracts at the desired price, which should be entered in the Price field. The order ends up in the "order book" and waits to be executed until the market price has reached the value you specified. Of course, one cannot be sure whether the certain price can ever be achieved.

When you open a position, part of the account balance is blocked by the exchange - as security for funds borrowed from the exchange, for trading with leverage. If the transaction is successful and the position is closed at a profit - the collateral (along with the profit) is returned - minus the transaction fees.
The same applies to the situation when you want to close a position in order to reduce losses. However, if it went in the opposite direction to which it was intended and you do not close it in time, the position will automatically be closed and the security liquidated when the price reaches a certain price. It is the so-called position liquidation price. All this data depends on the size of the balance, the size of the position and the size of the lever. You can also see the liquidation price directly on the Binance platform. Both before a position is opened and while it is already open.
On the Binance exchange (at the time of this description) it is possible to trade with leverage with 20 cryptocurrencies. The possible leverage that can be used depends on the cryptocurrency you are trading with. The highest possible leverage is x125 per BTC. For other available cryptocurrencies it is lower, up to a maximum of x75.
All profits and losses are settled in USDT (TetherUS) - this corresponds to the USD. The value of the contracts you open is converted into the cryptocurrency you want to trade in.
When placing a position the trader has two options:
Long position, the so-called LONG - Opening this position means that you are anticipating the price increase and want to make a profit by selling the position at a higher price (at the right time held).
Short position, the so-called SHORT - Opening this position means that you expect a price decline and want to make a profit by closing the position at a lower price (at the right time held).
Trading with leverage or leverage trading - consists of money (funds) rental, to increase your potential income from a buy or sell transaction (long or short). Thanks to this, you can open positions that are many times larger than the current funds in your stock exchange account.
Example:
You have an account balance of 1 BTC and want to trade with x125 leverage. In this way, you can open a position with a value of 125 BTC. Thanks to this, the profit is multiplied 125 times. Compared to the situation in which you would have taken this position without leverage if the open position went in the direction you assumed. However, you run the risk of losing 125 times as much if your position moves in the opposite direction. Of course, you can place a position for any amount, even as high as $ 1.
Assume that the open position is profitable and the price of Bitcoin has increased by $ 100. So you have earned 100 x 125 BTC (stake: 1 Bitcoin) 12,500 US dollars

It is currently one of the most popular trading platforms for cryptocurrencies that enables the user to trade on the so-called Binance Futures with a maximum leverage of 125: 1
Thanks to this, we have the opportunity to increase profits, but also on potential losses.
