What is a stock index?
As there are currently several thousand shares of various companies listed on the global stock exchanges, it is almost impossible to track their valuation on a regular basis. This is where stock indices come in handy, showing us the condition of a given market or its segment. They can be the largest companies of a selected country, industry or even selected services.
The largest world indices include:
Dow Jones (US30) - is the arithmetic mean calculated on the basis of the prices of the 30 most important companies listed on the NYSE (New York Stock Exchange), i.e. on the American stock exchange
S&P500 (SPX500) - is an index of the 500 largest American companies
NASDAQ (NAS100) - an index that tracks the US tech sector. These are the 100 largest companies in this industry
DAX (DE30) - it consists of 30 largest companies listed on the German stock exchange in Frankfurt
Here you will find the current technical analysis of active traders for selected Forex market indices. You can copy them, use them as a trading signal, or just compare them to your own analysis.
